My Biography

Carlos Antonio Flores (aka Flo) is a successful serial entrepreneur and originally from South Central Los Angeles, CA. Mr. Flores worked his way up from San Diego Community College to graduate from San Diego State University and now holds a B.A. in Public Administration and a Master’s degree in Executive Leadership from the University of San Diego. In addition, he is a board member to several non-profits.

Like many people, Mr. Flores felt trapped by his environment and decided to join the military in search of a brighter future. He began his career in the United States Navy as a Logistics Specialist aboard the Emory S. Land AS-39, Naval Support Activity La Maddalena, Italy, and USS Kidd (DDG-100). During his enlistment he received numerous awards and recognition for his supply chain knowledge and acumen. It is this strength and love of supply chain management and logistics that drove him to found his first company CoronadoDC. “The Navy saved my life in a phycological and physical way. It took me out of an environment in which I felt limited and expose me to the world.” Mr. Flores.

Since 2010, Mr. Flores has started up or partnered up in twelve (12) different businesses. Five (5) of them becoming multi-million dollar business within the first two years. Mr. Flores specialty is in startups and turn around projects. “I first started a business because I wanted to learn about business. It wasn’t about making money, I just wanted to learn.” Carlos Antonio Flores. Mr. Flores has industry experience in government contracting, warehouse and distribution, furniture design and installation, eCommerce, social media marketing, media, restaurants & family entertainment centers and real estate.

Mr. Flores attributes his success in creating an organizational culture that fosters, respect, opportunities, innovation and accountability. As a leader Mr. Flores leads by example and empowers his employees to have learning moments while at work. Setting the tone for future growth and constantly searching for experienced professionals to join his team. Mr. Flores is dedicated to building strategic alliances with people and companies that share similar values and desire for growth.

In his spare time, Mr. Flores enjoys spending time with his family and friends, traveling the world, learning new things, reading and podcasting, boxing and charity work. “I believe its important that we pay it forward.
